In 2016 and 2018, I visited this site, which is very rich in orchid species, where on both occasions I found a small population of about 10 typical O. simia (Fig. 2) growing in close association with about 25 typical O. italica (Fig. 3) accompanied by a few plants having flowers intermediate these two species (Figs. 4, 7 to 9). In some case, these plants grew just a few centimeters apart (Fig. 4).
