Magnets embedded in the denture. and lingual to the tooth) on to putty corresponding to the prepared tooth.(FIG.4) Holes must be in a diameter such that 2mm syringe tip can fit. Inject gingimask ( IMAGE PVS gingimask) from the buccal side such that it extrudes from the lingual side.(FIG.5) This method of recording the soft tissue around the abutment will ensure precise fit of margin(FIG.5). Separating media was coated in to the post space, Pattern for the post was made by indirect method with the help of pattern resin GC pattern resin was applied and allowed to set and a fiber post (relyx) was selected and adjusted so that it fits full length of the post space preparation. Post is coated with pattern resin (FIG.6). Cut the post above the finish line. Magnetic alloy keeper disc was positioned on the center of the tooth.

Background: Overdentures cover a number of possible solutions for patients with nearly all the teeth missing. Even though, it resembles a complete denture externally the combination of periodontal and mucosal support in the prosthesis is what it makes overdentures special. In addition to retention and support that can be gained from retained roots,...

Purpose: To compare long-term survival and marginal bone loss of late interantral implants in the nonaugmented edentulous maxilla subjected to immediate vs delayed loading. Materials and methods: One hundred twenty-two edentulous patients with implants in native, healed jawbone were subjected to either immediate loading (179 implants) or delayed...

... Magnetic attachment is one of the therapy strategies for retaining natural tooth while providing retention and stabilization of the denture, especially in older patients. Treating and preserving some teeth might provide vital support to the prosthesis instead of eliminating all remaining teeth [1]. ...

Background: Overdenture is a partial or complete denture that has support from natural tooth roots that have been treated with endodontic treatment. Retain the remaining teeth prevent resorption of alveolar ridge. An overdenture with a magnetic attachment can be used to increase the retention of the denture. The magnets transfer the occlusal load to the bone through the periodontal ligament of retained roots that are attached with remaining root structure Objectives: This case report is aimed to report the step-by-step treatment of complete denture mandibula and complete overdenture maxilla with magnetic attachment retained design Case Report: A 62-year-old female visited the Prosthodontic Clinic of Dentistry Faculty, Airlangga University with a chief complaint of difficulty in eating. Clinical examination shown partial edentulous in the mandibula. The remaining teeth were 18, 14, 23, 25 and 43. Case management: After thorough observation from the clinical presentation and radiographic, magnetic attachment was planned on 14 in order to retain the remaining tooth and improving retention and stabilization of the maxillary denture. Conclusion: Magnetic maxilla overdenture is able to provide support, stability and retention.
