At present ring slub carded yarn is very popular to produce value added product for ornamentation purpose in the apparel industry. During spinning different parameters influenced the spinning performance. The main aim of this study was to investigate the effect of spindle speed as well as traveller weight on yarn quality. The Ne 28, Ne 30 and Ne 34...

Ring spinning is the most important spinning system with its wide application area, high yarn quality and widespread usage in staple fiber spinning. Each parameter in the long process steps in the ring spinning system significantly influences the yarn quality. Within the scope of this study, the effects of the machine and construction settings on the sliver and yarn properties in each of the blowroom, carding, drawing, combing, roving and spinning processes are examined. In this context, the effect of many parameters such as carding parameters, sleeve type and size, combing type, yarn drawing and twisting settings on the quality characteristics of slivers and yarns have been observed. The effects of setting changes were investigated by examining the whole production process of cotton ring yarns with different yarn count and twisting properties. Breaking strength and elongation at break properties and hairiness, unevenness and imperfections of the materials were analyzed. The actual yarn manufacturing in the ring spinning mill was examined and the relations between production and quality were determined. It is thought that the results obtained will be useful for field studies and scientific researches related to ring yarn spinning

This article is devoted to the research work aimed at improving the quality of yarns obtained by pneumomechanical spinning. The yarn quality indicators obtained at different speed modes of the pneumomechanical spinning machine discrete drum were studied and analyzed. The effect of the number of incisions of the sawtooth coatings on the discrete drum on the quality indicators of the yarn produced was also studied. The results of the experiments were analyzed by graphical and histogram methods, and alternative options were suggested.

A study has been attempted to deal with an influence of spindle speed of ring frame on the quality of the yarn and reduce the end breakages rate on the ring frame with increasing the spindle speed. In this study, from the Supima variety of cotton, we have spun 80 s and 100 s Ne ring spun yarn. The analysis of yarn properties such as hairiness, imperfections, tenacity and elongation produced at two different spindle speed of the ring frame machine was done. From the analysis it is concluded that the hairiness and total imperfections in the ring yarn increased but there is remarkable decrease in the breaking extension was found as the spindle speed increased. Practically we will always try to achieve the optimum quality of yarn at higher production rate of ring frame.
