The purpose of this study is to provide a bibliometric analysis of JSFI between 2011 and 2020. It uses the Scopus database to collect JSFI’s publications and analyse their contents. A total of 263 documents are reviewed using RStudio, VOSviewer and Microsoft Excel. This study uses bibliometric indicators to analyse publications and citations in addition to bibliographic coupling, keyword analysis and content analysis. The findings show that JSFI had a stable performance in terms of publications until 2019, with a decline in citations in the last four years. Network analysis shows that the popularity of ‘Sustainable finance’ and ‘ESG’ topics has increased, while that of ‘Corporate governance’ and ‘Socially responsible investment’ has declined. Bibliographic coupling analysis shows that the major themes published in JSFI involve four main clusters: ‘Corporate social responsibility and sustainable development’; ‘Sustainable finance and green bonds’; ‘Corporate governance and ESG’; and ‘Responsible investment and pension funds’.
