YBa2Cu3O7−δ (YBCO) thin films, doped or undoped with BaSnO3, are deposited on single crystal SrTiO3 substrates using a pulsed laser deposition system. The optimized temperatures for BSO–YBCO and pure YBCO are different, while BSO–YBCO needs higher growth temperature of 850 °C. And the films being grown at different temperatures exhibit very differe...
Polyvinyl alcohol polymer was dissolved in water in order to prepare films with different concentration of Fe utilizing casting method. The optical properties were obtained by recording the transmittance spectrum in the wavelength range (300-900) nm. The dispersion parameters were calculated using the Wemple–DiDomenico method. Dispersion energy (Ed...
Although Vanadium dioxide (VO2) has a potential application value for smart energy efficient windows because of its unique phase transition characteristic, there are still many obstacles that need to be overcome. One challenge is to reduce its high transition temperature (

= 68 °C) to near room temperature without causing its phase transition...
The optical properties of electrochemically synthesized P3HT films were studied. After the synthesis, the samples were divided into two groups: as prepared (P3HT-E) and the chemically reduced (dedoped) in a basic medium (P3HT-D). These films were characterized by photoluminescence (PL), Raman and photoluminescence time decay techniques. Comparing t...
A pristine YBa 2 Cu 3 O 6+ δ film as well as two Zn-doped YBa 2 (Cu 1− x Zn x ) 3 O 6+ δ films with doping levels x of 0.2 % and 0.4 %, respectively, grown epitaxially on SrTiO 3 single crystalline substrates by pulsed laser deposition, were investigated regarding the effect of the doping on the glass-liquid transition line and the pinning potentia...
