... study shows the results of this investigation, and the descriptive analysis of logistics activities and strategies. The considered logistics activities for this research were: receiving and processing orders, storage, purchasing, distribution, inventory control, picking-just in time and transport, these are performed by the enterprises for themselves or by outsourcing (Figure 3). Figure 3 shows that the activities of receiving and order processing, warehousing, distribution and transport are mostly done by outsourcing. Purchasing activities are performed entirely by the companies, and in terms of inventory control only 6 companies did this for outsourcing and two for themselves, this suggests that the others do not have inventories. It also questioned the companies on twelve general aspects of the logistics strategy, which the companies responded (Figure 4 and Table 2). The most relevant of these results was that all companies do production planning (Aspect 7) and there were no indicators to measure the efficiency of its logistics strategy in relation to production (Aspect 8). Additionally, a descriptive analysis of downtimes was made, and the results are shown in Figure 5.
