During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, it is difficult for travelers to choose suitable nature-based leisure travel destinations because many factors are related to health risks and are highly uncertain. This research proposes a type-II fuzzy approach with explainable artificial intelligence to overcome this difficulty. First, an innovative type-II alpha-cut operations fuzzy collaborative intelligence method was used to derive the fuzzy priorities of factors critical for nature-based leisure travel destination selection. Subsequently, a type-II fuzzy Vise Kriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje method, which is also novel, was employed to evaluate and compare the overall performance of nature-based leisure travel destinations. Furthermore, several measures were taken to enhance the explainability of the selection process and result. The effectiveness of the proposed type-II fuzzy approach was evaluated in a regional experiment conducted in Taichung City, Taiwan, during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This paper presents profile and social network analyses on concise systematic review corpora. It suggests two new robots and platforms for profile and social network analyses, that will serve previously proposed data, expert, and event-driven robots and platforms for energy and power industry. The literature is collected and stored in three topic clusters “location”, “investment”, and “DEMATEL” to prepare corpora. Twenty-five publications are selected in each sample corpus. A sample dataset of each corpus is prepared for thirty-one features such as “author’s full name and surname”, “applied methods”, and “publisher”. Afterward, “authors network matrices” are prepared in spreadsheet software. Data input files (*.csv) are prepared for each dataset. Gephi 0.9.2 201709241107 (free open-source software) is used for social network analyses with built-in layout and statistics algorithms on a desktop Windows 10 Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20 GHz, 6,00 GB RAM personal computer in an offline and active cybersecurity software environment. Force Atlas, Force Atlas 2, Fruchterman-Reingold, OpenOrd, Yifan Hu, and Yifan Hu Proportional layout algorithms with Noverlap layout algorithm are run one by one. Runtimes range 2-120 s. All default statistic algorithms are run for several metrics like average degree, average weighted degree, betweenness centrality, closeness centrality, harmonic closeness centrality, eccentricity, and density. Authors in “location” cluster have a centralized network, but authors in “investment” and “DEMATEL” clusters have distributed networks. General profile analyses are conducted based on authors’ publications in the literature without any data and information on social media sites and platforms. Two new profile analysis metrics are proposed as “researcher’s past research focus index”, and “researcher’s future research focus prediction index”. Detailed profile analysis is performed for only Burak Omer Saracoglu. All analyses and findings are compared and summarized in the end.

This study analyzes how to improve and build high technology export strategies for high tech companies in Turkey. In this framework, oil prices and the real effective exchange rate are selected because Turkey’s export companies hugely depend on imported inputs, and oil prices are essential imported products. Besides, the real effective exchange affects the cost of the imported inputs and shows countries’ comparative advantages in foreign trade. Within this context, comprehensive different theoretical frameworks and literature reviews are presented to lead the companies’ correct way. Subsequently, an investigation is performed with Vector Autoregressive Analysis (VAR) on data covering 2016-Q1 and 2018-Q3. According to results, the real effective exchange rates and oil prices have an essential impact on the high-tech companies’ performance. Regarding the relationship between the real effective exchange rate and the high-tech exports, the J curve condition is valid. Besides, an increase in oil prices leads to expanding the high-tech exports in Turkey from the first month to the third month because the oil-exported countries are imperative partners for the Turkish export companies. Furthermore, the effects become reversed since an increase in oil prices leads to production costs. Regarding the results, the energy diversification policies, less dependent imported inputs, and expanding the market will contribute to developing the high-tech exports in Turkey.

Decision-making is a vital aspect of any sport and competitive success, in particular open, strong, competitive team sports like soccer, volleyball, basketball, and rugby. However, in the notational analysis, it has largely ignored. To successfully win in any game and compete in every sport for individuals and teams at the national and international level, all success factors must be reconsidered to ensure a better winning decision. Hence, in this paper, Exploratory Hybridized Structural Equation Modeling Framework (HSEMF) has been proposed for decision making on functional training competitive sports training. The training environment will allow competitors to weigh up their options, determine, and mistake. However, the main feature of the environment is that athletes must be informed if they make mistakes to ensure that they do not take part in the future. The feedback should be provided to improve the performance of the athlete. The decision accuracy and performance indicators have been evaluated. Overall, the results did not show a causal relationship between changes in decision making after implementing the learning modules. However, it has provided moderate evidence of improved reaction time due to the learning modules for decision-making.
... The annual economic cost of physical inactivity has been estimated as $53.8 billion, about 60% of which is borne by the public sector and 25% by households [24]. Strategies to address this preventable disease burden have included research to map limitations to engaging in physical activities across age groups and investments in infrastructure to increase physical activity at the population level [25][26][27][28][29][30][31]. Our goal with the present study was to contribute to the national evidence base of best practices for incentivizing physical activity in urban populations that are experiencing disproportional burden of chronic diseases, with emphasis on public recreational parks. ...

To reduce the burden of chronic disease, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded the Orange County Partnerships to Improve Health (OC-PICH) project in Orange County, California. One of the strategies included adding outdoor exercise equipment (OEE) in two parks in Garden Grove and Anaheim. Using a quasi-experimental pre-post design, we evaluated park users’ physical activity levels before and after OEE installation using the System for Observing Play and Recreation in Communities (SOPARC). The OEE was installed along a walking path in Edison Park (Anaheim) and grouped within a single area (a “fitness zone”) in Garden Grove Park. In both parks, there were significantly greater odds of high-intensity physical activity overall after the installation—19% higher odds in Anaheim, and 23% higher odds in Garden Grove. However, the fitness zone area in Garden Grove had substantially higher odds of increased physical activity post-intervention (OR = 5.29, CI: 3.76–7.44, p < 0.001). While the increases in physical activity levels are consistent with past studies that link OEE to higher levels of physical activity among park users, our findings also suggest that the location and placement of equipment within a park may be an important factor to consider when improving park amenities for physical activity.

In the early 20th century, advancements in technology facilitated greater accessibility to data, thereby revealing the extent of human-induced harm to the ecosystem. The revelation of environmental resource depletion has led to a rise in international agreements, sanctions, and regulations as a precautionary measure. The notion of sustainable development has given rise to novel concepts, including eco-friendly, green, and smart buildings. The primary objectives of green buildings are to ensure safety, health, comfort, longevity, and cost-effectiveness for both occupants and the environment. In this paper, a novel integrated model is proposed by Interval Type-2 Fuzzy DEMATEL-ANP (DANP) - FANP for the evaluation of ventilation system alternatives for sustainable buildings. The ranking of the criteria was established using the DANP approach. Then, the FANP method was integrated into the DANP technique for the ranking of the alternatives. To implement pairwise comparison matrices of alternatives within sub-criteria using the DANP methodology, it is imperative to create a square matrix with the intention of producing a normalized direct relation matrix. The problem was solved through the utilization of the FANP methodology. Sensitivity analysis was performed in the last step to ascertain the method's sensitivity.

Reasonable investment strategies are of great importance for investors, companies, or even countries. Therefore, many investment methods have been proposed to assist people with their investment decision-makings. In this paper, we focus on qualitative investment methods, namely fuzzy investment theory, and provide an overview of the related studies via numerical analysis and literature review. As for the numerical analysis, the status quo and evolution track of fuzzy investment research are presented from static and dynamic perspectives. Specifically, the main publish stages, the whole development trend and the theory diffusion paths of this field are provided in detail. Regarding the literature review, we summaries the fuzzy investment models with consideration of diverse fuzzy environments such as the interval-valued fuzzy, intuitionistic fuzzy, and hesitant fuzzy environments. Various elements fused in the fuzzy investment models such as risk factor, decision-making technique, and portfolio construction are introduced and overviewed as well. Furthermore, we demonstrate the corresponding practical applications of the fuzzy investment methods and clarify their application processes. This study would be helpful for readers, investors, and researchers to comprehensively learn and apply the fuzzy investment theory, which is an effective tool to fuse their subjective opinions into real investment decision-makings.

This study will focus on the social and economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on India. In this context, firstly, the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country from the start date to the present will be examined. Next, the measures that the state has already taken to manage this epidemic will be discussed. In the last part, the importance for the country to effectively manage this epidemic will be emphasized. In this context, an analysis will be carried out using the Entropy method. The findings indicate that life expectancy is the most crucial criterion for India. Similarly, GDP growth is another crucial issue in this regard. However, adult literacy rate and health expenditure have the lowest weights. It is evident that the COVID-19 pandemic has many negative impacts on life expectancy in India. This situation explains that Indian people have become very anxious about their futures since lots of people died in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this period, the governments have two different alternatives, giving importance to reducing the pandemic or taking actions to increase trade volume. These two choices create a paradox for governments as they affect each other negatively. The analysis results of this study demonstrate that the Indian government should mainly focus on the necessary ways to reduce pandemics.
