No existe ninguna prueba docu- mental de que tal hecho sea cierto, así que el fundamento de este mito posiblemente haya que buscarlo más bien en el carácter de símbolo totémico que ocupa ese monolito en el imaginario popular español (Figuras 1 y 2).
