Fiber characteristics of different genotypes of cotton Staple length (mm): Maximum staple length was recorded in MNH-988 (24.9 mm). Minimum staple length was recorded in AGC-22.8 i.e. 22.8 mm. All other genotypes range of staple length was 23.0-24.80 mm as shown in Fig 1.
