Meanwhile, subculture arises in culture from interactions between people or groups with similar values, experiences, and lifestyles, such as religion, nationalities, or racial groups (Yakup & Jablonsk, 2012). Plastic waste has become a significant threat and problem to the world, causing many environmental and ecosystem issues. Plastic pollution causes a disturbance towards habitats and interferes with natural processes, reducing the environment's ability to adapt to climate change. Indonesia consumes more than 93 million plastic straws every day, making the country the fourth largest plastic straw-consuming country in the world. Many actions have been taken to solve this problem, one of them being the introduction of edible cutleries, including edible straws. Although the market value for edible straws shows a great opportunity, predicted to reach USD 446.96 in the year 2029, a growth of 113% from 2020, several edible cutlery provider businesses have not been receiving the expected response from the market. Departing from this problem, this research was conducted to identify factors influencing a customer's purchase intention on edible cutlery products. Seventy-eight respondents who have ever consumed any edible cutlery product residing in DKI Jakarta or Kota Bandung were involved in this study. The data was gathered using an online survey in the form of a questionnaire, using Bahasa Indonesia as the survey language. The data was then analyzed by implementing multiple linear analysis methods. The result of the study indicates that psychological factors significantly and positively affect a customer's purchase intention on edible cutleries. On the other hand, product quality, product features, product style and design, cultural factors, social factors, and personal factors do not significantly affect the purchase intention of edible cutlery products of a customer. Moreover, each independent variable for this research simultaneously affects a customer's dependent variable on edible cutlery products.

Sürdürülebilir turizm konusunda ön plana çıkan üniversiteler; Akdeniz Üniversitesi (n=9) ve Çanakkale On Sekiz Mart Üniversitesi (n=9) olmuştur. ‘Journal of Tourism and Gastronomy Studies’ dergisi (n= 22) sürdürülebilir turizm konusunda en fazla yayın yapan dergidir.

Besides, previous studies in the field of consumer literature (Khaniwale, 2015;Yakup and Jablonsk, 2012) shed light on acknowledging consumers' characteristics when assessing their consumption behaviour, as consumers are unique and differ in personal characteristics and nature among themselves. Addition- ally, having an insight into the place of consumers' sociodemographic characteristics in formulating their intention towards green consumption could assist marketing experts in enhancing their practical activities (Witek and Kuzniar, 2021 The growth of consumerism and industrial production impacted the emergence of environmental risks, which also triggered awareness about environmental health issues (Bhardwaj et al. 2020). ...

The tourism industry contributes greatly to stakeholders at tourism destinations, yet leaving negative prints on the environment. Besides, both tourism providers and tourists are often associated with unfavourable treatment of nature and disrespectful behaviour towards the destination’s natural resources. Hence, understanding what influences tourists’ attitudes and behaviour towards the environment is of great significance. Previous literature has already shed light on the importance of people’s sociodemographic characteristics in molding their environmental attitudes and behaviour. Thus, this paper attempted to investigate whether tourists’ sociodemographic variables influence their eco-friendly attitudes and behaviour when at tourism destinations. Similarly, such personal characteristics have been confirmed to assist consumers in their preferences towards product packaging. Based on this, and the fact that green products could enhance the quality of the environment and modify consumers’ behaviour, the present study also focused on tourists’ perception of green packaging and branding. The survey research was carried out among 368 Serbian tourists. The results confirmed differences in eco-friendly attitudes between male and female tourists, as well as between travelers of different occupational statuses and monthly income. Moreover, the findings pointed out that tourists’ age correlates positively with their eco-friendly attitudes and behaviour. Interestingly, no significant differences were detected in the perception of green packaging and branding. Practical implications for destination marketers will be discussed in the paper.

Using the convenience sampling technique, data was collected from 288 respondents. Questionnaires were self-administered and data was analyzed via Smart PLS-SEM. Social advertising, individual factors, and brand image are significantly related to the buying behavior of Malaysian consumers toward fashion clothing brands. Social advertising and individual factors have also a positive significant relationship with the brand image.
