The new combination Erysiphe atraphaxis var. pluriappendicis is introduced; and the taxonomy of four powdery mildew species is reassessed. Erysiphe rabdosiae is reduced to synonym with E. bunkiniana, and E. shinii is considered to be identical with E. thermopsidis.
