Introduction Emergency Medical Language Services (EMLS) have played a crucial role in the COVID-19 pandemic. Research on the quality and its influencing factors of EMLS is necessary. Methods This study used the SERvice QUALity (SERVQUAL) model to determine factors affecting the quality of EMLS during the pandemic. An online questionnaire was completed by 206 participants who received the service in 2021–2022. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) indicated that the service provider and service process significantly influenced the Service Results. Results In the service process, the evaluation of service content and responsiveness were highly correlated, and both factors significantly affected user satisfaction. In the service provider, tangibility and reliability were highly correlated. The key factors for user willingness to recommend the service were service content and tangibility. Discussion Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be inferred that EMLS should be improved and upgraded in terms of service organization, talent cultivation, and service channel expansion. To enhance service organization, an emergency medical language team should establish a close collaboration with local medical institutions and government departments, and an EMLS center should be established with the support of hospitals, government, or civil organizations.

The main objective of this study is to apply structural equation modeling with partial least squares and based on covariance to assess the satisfaction of residential electricity consumers. The methodology used compares the results of both structural equation models to indicate the model that best fits the problem of measuring the satisfaction of residential consumers of electricity concessionaires and licensees. The sample used in the survey contained questionnaire responses from 86.175 individuals considering the period from 2014 to 2018. The constructs evaluated were satisfaction, quality, value, loyalty, and trust. Confidence interval analysis shows that all weights are significant, demonstrating the importance of all the indicators that represent the constructs. The trust, quality, and value constructs can explain 74.4% of the variability of the satisfaction construct, so the explanatory capacity of this relationship is considered substantial. Finally, the evaluation of the performance of the service provided by the electric energy concessionaires/licensees, measured by customer satisfaction, allows for the continuous improvement of services and meeting, even if minimally, the expectations of its consumers.

The main aim of this study is to explore the impact of the dimensions of Umrah service quality on customer satisfaction for Umrah and customer loyalty for Umrah in the travel industry. Increasingly intense competition and structural shifts in the business environment are now pushing companies to adopt a customer-focused strategy that elevates the value of customer-related constructs such as customer satisfaction, quality of service, and consumer loyalty in describing the success of a company. Umrah service efficiency, Umrah customer satisfaction, and Umrah customer loyalty were calculated from the literature using a 5-point Likert scale. Structural equation modeling was carried out to analyze the impact of Umrah service quality on customer satisfaction in Umrah and customer loyalty in Umrah. The result showed that all dimensions of service quality influenced customer satisfaction and loyalty of Umrah's customers. The study's key drawback is that it was confined only to the Malaysian nation. Second, the present study only focuses on the traveling industry in Umrah. The results clearly indicate the dimensions of the quality of Umrah service that the practitioners must concentrate on in order to provide a better quality of service.

This work explores determinants of public satisfaction with urban solid waste collection service quality of the city of Burgos (Spain). A Structural Equation Modeling is conducted based on the indicators of the service quality offered by the SEMAT S.A. company and the dimensions offered by SERVQUAL service quality model. The findings show that Assurance and Responsiveness have a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction. However, Reliability, Empathy, and Tangible have no significant effect. Regarding Assurance, cleanliness of pavements and cleanliness of walkways are the indicators that provide a significant influence on this dimension. Otherwise, daily collection of organic waste and daily collection of selective waste are the indicators that provide a significant effect on the Responsiveness dimension. We can emphasize that increasing public satisfaction can be achieved by increasing the frequency of pavements and walkways cleanliness and the frequency of organic and selective waste collection and that this has a clear relationship with the increase in costs and pollution impact. Find a balance between frequency of collection and cost and pollution is necessary. Despite this, the significance of these indicators is strong enough to motivate decision-makers to address their efforts and investments in improving them, enabling thus an effective and efficient service at the required level of quality and adjusting their strategies to increase public satisfaction. Moreover, the study highlights that 84.37% of citizens are satisfied with the service. In addition to this practical validation at the management level, we also discuss environmental and sustainability repercussions.
