The article is devoted to improvements in technology of corn production using liquid nitrogen fertilizers such as urea ammonium nitrate (UAN), in pure form UAN-32 or with the addition of sulphur UAN+S, with various methods of application before seeding or leaf-feeding dressings. This technology provides an increase in the corn yield with additional...

... a 7% decrease, the yield of corn was obtained with a one-time (for cultivation) application of UAN-32, and the average corn yield over three years of research decreased by almost a third, 63 c / ha, with the application of solid nitrogen mineral fertilizers (ammonium nitrate). Table 2. Corn productivity of hybrid "Pioneer 7709" (2018); hybrid NK "Falcon" (Syngenta) (2019/2020 The calculation of the corn production economic efficiency from the application of liquid nitrogen UAN-32 and nitrogen-sulfur-containing UAN+S mineral fertilizers compared with solid ammonium nitrate (the most common fertilizer in Russian agro-industrial complex) showed a significant advantage of liquid fertilizers, especially UAN+S (Table 3). ...

Sweet corn seedlings ( Zea mays L. var. rugosa cv. Jubilee) were grown with urea, (NH 4 ) 2 SO 4 , NH 4 NO 3 , and Ca(NO 3 ) 2 at linearly increasing increments from 0 to 18 g of N/m of row. The N fertilizers, with 5 g of P from concentrated superphosphate and 5 g of K from KCl per meter of row, were placed in a band 5 cm below seed depth to the si...

In turn, when top dressing with ammonium nitrate, a concentrated fertilizer that acts quickly in dry conditions, which can also be quickly dissolved by a small amount of water from drizzle, fog or dew, in the case of high solar exposure, in addition to possible nitrogen losses, damage is often caused to plants and, in extreme cases, results in situations of the 'burn' of leaves [8] of the sward. ...

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of nitrogen (three doses of N) and magnesium (two doses of Mg) fertilization on the yield and quality of fodder obtained from two old and extensive grass species Festulolium braunii cv. ‘Felopa’ and Lolium multiflorum cv. ‘Tur’ in field cultivation under dry conditions. F. braunii was better adapted to cultivation on light, dry soils than L. multiflorum; in such conditions, it produces higher yields of dry matter and protein, characterized by a higher concentration of nutrients. F. braunii fertilized with doses of 120 and 180 kg N∙ha−1 yielded higher than that fertilized with a dose of 60 kg N∙ha−1, and L. multiflorum produced similar yields after applying doses of 60, 120 and 180 kg N∙ha−1. For tested grass pasture, a single N application after the start of vegetation in two forms (fast- and slow-acting) appears to be adequate. Resignation from splitting the nitrogen dose due to variable rainfall distribution that can occur after the first cut during the dry summer is beneficial due to a reduction in the losses of nutrients and environmental burdens.
... In a harsh continental climate, with sudden temperature changes, long hot periods, and lack of moisture and precipitation necessary for plants, nitrogen fertilizers in liquid form help to minimize risks, allowing crops to receive vital substances from the first days of sowing, having not only instantaneous but also long-lasting effect throughout the entire growth period (Łuczkowska et al., 2015;Milyutkin et al., 2021;Vasin et al., 2022). ...

The article is devoted to improving the winter wheat seeding technology. Choosing the rational design of the opener group enables the placement of crop seeds in a deeper moisty soil layer for their rapid germination with the formation of a surface relief from furrows. Seeds are placed into furrows at the optimal depth 4–5 cm and furrow slices are formed by the soil thrown out of the furrow by chisel-shaped openers and compacted by individual rollers for each opener. That solves the problem of insufficient soil moisture in arid regions.

The article is devoted to into the study of the optimisation of the process of using liquid nitrogen mineral fertilisers based on a carbamide-ammonia mixture, both in the serial form of CAM-32 and in the innovative CAM+S (with the addition of the sulfur mesoelement (S)) as a top dressing for winter wheat in spring during tillering. The application process was carried out superficially on crops with large-drop nozzles with a serial rod sprayer “Tuman-2” and an injec-tion-innovative multi-injector unit “Tuman-2M”. The article presents the improvement of the technology of cultivation of winter wheat of the "Basis" variety with the use of liquid mineral nitrogen and nitrogen-sulfur-containing fertilisers. The results obtained will improve the technology of wheat cultivation and improve the quality of the crop. The results of the research are an in-crease in yield compared with the use of granular solid mineral fertilisers: ammonium nitrate with the same nitrogen equivalent from 16.7 to 2.64 t/ha or from 34.5 to 58.1% and an improvement in grain quality to the level of class I compared with class III wheat quality when it is cultivated us-ing innovative technologies described in this work.

The paper presents studies to determine the effectiveness of innovative liquid nitrogen-sulfur-containing mineral fertilizers produced by PJSC KuibyshevAzot (Russia), used in the cultivation of the main agricultural crop in the Russian Federation – winter wheat. The application of liquid fertilizers on crops was carried out using various technologies: spraying with large-drop nozzles and intra-soil application by a multi-injector self-propelled complex Tuman produced by LLC Pegas-Agro – Samara R.F. The results of scientific research have obtained a high efficiency of liquid nitrogen mineral fertilizers based on a carbamide-ammonia mixture—CAS with the addition of sulfur, cuprum and potassium humate to the tank mixture, especially when they are introduced internally into the root system by a multi-injector.

The article presents the results of scientific and industrial studies of the effectiveness of liquid nitrogen and nitrogen-sulphur-containing mineral fertilizers based on the carbamide-ammonia mixture of UAN when feeding potatoes on irrigation during irrigation-fertigation. The studies are relevant in that during irrigation for feeding potatoes with nitrogen (UAN-32) and nitrogen with sulfur (UAN + S), when nitrogen, represented by three forms, has a prolonged effect, providing a longer time for nitrogen use by plants. The innovative technology of feeding potatoes with fertilizers based on UAN provided an increase in yield from 6.4% of marketable potatoes and up to 12.2% of the total yield. Today, Russia has everything necessary for the effective use of innovative fertilizers based on innovative technologies: chemical plants for the production of UAN fertilizers with volumes sufficient for processing crops on an area of 35 million hectares with a rate of 100 kg/ha; UAN using all technologies known in the world, the logistics of transportation and storage of UAN has been developed and technically provided.
