This work proposes a formulation to calculate the transmitter power needed to cover cells of different sizes whilst maintaining the average signal to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) constant, and near the maximum, for two long-term evolution (LTE) systems operating over non-contiguous frequency bands, 800 MHz and 2 GHz, with an integrated comm...

... Imagine if there are 3 prominent nodes in the network topology, the latencies from referred node to those prominent nodes are 35, 8, and 21 respectively. Nodes are rated with latency information as mentioned: latencies range 0 in [0, 13], latencies range 1 in [13,43], and latencies range 2 in greater than 43. Thus, the prominent order of the considered node is "201'. ...

In any typical centralized hierarchy cloud-based multimedia system (CMS) contains a resource manager, cluster heads and clustered servers. All multimedia service requests of clients, first directed to resource manager then it forwards to appropriate cluster head based on the task characteristic and then again cluster head forwards the client task to the one of the its clustered servers.. In such a complex CMS, obviously, there are prominent design challenges to overcome load balancing issues and enhance the cost effectiveness in transmitting multimedia content between CMS and clients' systems without exceeding maximum load capacity of cluster server. Unlike to earlier paper works, this research work considered additional real time CMS use cases with performance monitoring at various time periods and modelled them into a mathematical optimization program, which intern to derive a better approach to utilize maximum capacity of servers performance and also ensuring not to exceed the cluster server load. As a result, this enhanced work got resolved runtime issues of load balancing by mathematical derived models. The imitation of intended mathematical optimization programs over CMS multi-server load balancing resulted significantly enhanced.
... Load balancing for wireless networks has been studied extensively in the previous literature, e.g., multiple-factor load balancing [5], load balancing with policy mechanism [6], load balancing based on game theory [7], load balancing in WLANs [8], multi-service load balancing [9] and soft load balancing [10], and scheduling [11] in heterogeneous wireless networks, among others. Some previous works have also existed on load balancing for CMSs, e.g., see [3], [12]. ...

Consider a centralized hierarchical cloud-based multimedia system (CMS) consisting of a resource manager, cluster heads, and server clusters, in which the resource manager assigns clients' requests for multimedia service tasks to server clusters according to the task characteristics, and then each cluster head distributes the assigned task to the servers within its server cluster. For such a complicated CMS, however, it is a research challenge to design an effective load balancing algorithm that spreads the multimedia service task load on servers with the minimal cost for transmitting multimedia data between server clusters and clients, while the maximal load limit of each server cluster is not violated. Unlike previous work, this paper takes into account a more practical dynamic multiservice scenario in which each server cluster only handles a specific type of multimedia task, and each client requests a different type of multimedia service at a different time. Such a scenario can be modelled as an integer linear programming problem, which is computationally intractable in general. As a consequence, this paper further solves the problem by an efficient genetic algorithm with an immigrant scheme, which has been shown to be suitable for dynamic problems. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed genetic algorithm can efficiently cope with dynamic multiservice load balancing in CMS.

IETF has proposed route optimization extensions in Mobile IP to solve the triangle routing problem. However, the scheme is almost infeasible, because the scheme needs to implement a binding cache for all mobile hosts and correspondent nodes to solve the triangle routing problem. In this paper, we propose an IP header extension scheme for route optimization in Mobile IP to solve the triangle routing problem. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the standard Mobile IP scheme.

Now a day’s cloud computing is that the most up-to-date advance paradigm promising to show the vision of computing utilities into reality. It provides a versatile and straightforward way to store and retrieve immense information without concern the hardware required. Cloud based Storage (CS) incorporates a resource manager, cluster lead and server clusters, inside that resource manager assigns client’s request for information service tasks to server clusters in line with the task features. And each cluster head distributes the assigned task to the servers inside its server cluster. In cloud based Storage every server clusters solely handles a particular kind of information service and receives the client’s request dynamically on completely different time steps. A good genetic algorithmic rule is wanted for load equalisation that spreads the load of storage service task on server dynamically depends on time modification compared to Load Balancing Min Min algorithmic rule. Beneath the cloud primarily based storage constructs the comparison of genetic and LBMM algorithmic rule resolves the higher resolution for multiservice load equalization.

Cloud computing is that the most rising paradigm promising to indicate the vision of ''Computing Utilities'' into reality. Cloud computing simplifies the network affiliation. It provides a versatile and simplenetwork that retrieves huge data without worrying about the hardware required. Load balancing is partitioning the amount of work that a computer has to do between two or more computers. It automatically handles the increases and decreases in capacity and adapts its distribution decisions based on the capacity available at the time a request is made. Cloud based Storage (CS) consist of a resource manager, cluster lead and server clusters, within which resource manager allots client’s request for data service tasks to server clusters according to the task characteristics. And every cluster head distributes the assigned task to the servers within its server cluster. In cloud based Storage each server clusters only handles a specific type of data service and receives the client’s request dynamically on completely different time steps. An effective genetic algorithm is desire for load balancing that spreads the load of storage service task on server dynamically depends on time change. Simulation results demonstrate that the genetic algorithm can efficiently manage with the dynamic multi service load balancing in CS.

Daily life applications of machine-to-machine (M2M) communication are constantly increasing. Typically, M2M communication systems comprise numerous small, cheap and autonomous devices that communicate with each other while monitoring environmental conditions. After their deployment, however, remote entity management of a node is still needed for firmware or software updates required for bug fixes, functional changes or other maintenance. Therefore implementing remote entity management for M2M service capability in third generation partnership project machine-type-communication is a major challenge. Previous works have attempted to reduce traffic by updating only the software changes in the M2M device. However, the device must still reboot after a software update. Rebooting the device is costly since the previous runtime states are lost. The devices expend time and bandwidth when synchronising with other nodes and when rebuilding the routing table. Hence, the dynamic software update model (DSUM) proposed in this study is designed to enable remote entity management for M2M. A dynamic software update programming model and a prototype implementation for M2M service capability are also presented. By allowing M2M service capabilities to update the software without rebooting the node, the DSUM preserves precious runtime states. The tests in this study showed that software updating required only 88 clock cycles. This framework not only enables dynamic replacement of remote entity management functionalities at runtime, it also reduces power consumption by avoiding the need to rebuild the network topology for devices in an M2M communication network.

The Gabor filter aided diagnosis system for 3-dimensional ultra-sonography (3DUS) under the WLAN environment is introduced. Due to the important relationship between breast tumour surface features and internal architecture, we applied our system using 3D inter-pixel correlations instead of 2D features. Gabor filters provide a multi-resolution representation of texture, which increases ultrasound technology capability in the differential diagnosis of solid breast tumours. Our experiments show that the performance of the proposed diagnostic method is effective. Moreover, physicians manipulate our diagnostic system using hand-held devices in the hospital. Because WLAN is unstable, our system ensures good transmission quality. We also focus on transmission control strategies that adapt to the time varying wireless network conditions. We analyze strategies that use competitive analysis techniques. The experiments show that the algorithm?s performance is effective.
