Education system in India is at a tipping point. A large number of institutions in higher education are churning out lakhs of students' every year with less number of them finding gainful employment. The scenario is same for engineering, pharmacy as well as management students'. The college culture is being impacted by internet and technology bringing in diversion and also new ways of learning methods. Presently, various avenues available for students' to study ranges from all-in-one study material and online courses to training institutes which are found to be more attractive than the regimented classroom teaching. A study is undertaken to find out the variables affecting the academic performance of students' in management courses in terms of Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) scores. With the government plan to have better outcomes of the reimbursement scheme the study indirectly aims to find the variables that affect the academic performance to enable government to introduce better monitoring controls. The findings statistically show a strong and significant correlation of academic performance with gender and class attendance and are found to predict the performance outcome of the students'.

... Collett et al (2007) found that after controlling other factors, attendance at tutorials affect student performance in management accounting course. Other authors who examined the effect of attendance in management accounting class was Isa and Abdullah(2009)who found that a clear positive relationship between attendance and academic performance, this result was echoed by Ayob and Selamat(2011) who reported that absenteeism was negatively and statistically significant associated with students' score. Schmulian and Coetzee (2011) showed a significant positive correlation between class attendance and academic performance; however, the correlation is weak and not very meaningful. ...

This study aims to measure the impact of consumer animosity on product judgment, boycott motivation, and boycott intention among Indonesian consumers against Israeli products. Data was collected through an online survey, and it attracted 337 participants. Data was analyzed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, animosity is significant to influence product judgment, boycott motivation, and boycott intention. Furthermore, boycott motivation is significant to affect boycott intention. On the other hand, product judgment fails to affect boycott motivation. Recommendation for future study is discussed.

This study believes that teaching an accounting course at a university level requires alternative as well as innovative methodologies to allow greater dynamic in the learning processes and to foster a better understanding of the accounting topics. In this sense, this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of online teaching tool as one of the platforms to enhance the learning process in accounting education. This study was conducted on the students of the Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Perlis Branch (UiTM Perlis). One hundred and two (102) accounting students participated in this study and answered the questionnaires at the end of the course. The analysis showed that online teaching tools (i.e., Nearpod) used in teaching accounting subjects have some influence on the attitudes and academic performance of the students. This study perceives that embracing technology as one of the teaching methods through a virtual mediator like Nearpod can equip students with more practical processes of learning and discerning of the subject matter.
