Macroscopic and microscopic features: Fruiting body 1-3.5 mm across, bowl shaped, attached to the substrate at the bottom, thin, soft and fragile, white to cream fibrous to fringed, margin somewhat turned into bowl. Hymenial surface smooth to somewhat rough, greyish white to yellowish cream when young, becomes ochraceous when mature (Figure 2a). Basdia 13-14 × 5.5-6 μm, cylindrical to clavate usually with four sterigmata (Figure 2b).

Bryophilous fungi have at least one stage of its life cycle linked to Bryophytes. There are few studies in relation to their taxonomy and ecology all around the world, including Brazil. The Agaricomycetes (Basidiomycota) have gained prominence worldwide and contained several species of economic interest. Based on a bibliographic review and discussion about identification methods and experimental models on this association a species list of bryophilous/Agaricomycetes found in Brazil was elaborated. In the works found among the techniques used to identify effective fungi/Bryophytes associations it can be cited: phylogenetics analysis, optical and electron microscopy, and cultivation experiments. In Brazil, four orders of Agaricomycetes (Basidiomycota), belonging to Agaricales, Boletales, Hymenochaetales, and Polyporales, with 33 species were found associated to Bryophytes in the literature. Information of the worldwide distribution of Brazilian muscicolous species and application of these groups were realized associating edibility, toxicity, and others. It was noted that in this country there is a scarcity of scientific knowledge of this subject, that needs to be better understood in terms of ecology and taxonomy.

Macrofungi samples were collected during routine field studies in 2019 within the borders of Hakkari and Şırnak provinces, Türkiye. Six Typhula species were collected for the first time from Türkiye: T . corallina, T. crassipes, T. incarnata, T. micans, T. phacorrhiza, and T. quisquiliaris. Detailed descriptions of the species are presented with morphological and microscopic illustrations and ecological information.

Cryptomarasmius minutus (Peck) T.S. Jenkinson & Desjardin, is given as new record for the mycobiota of Turkey with a short description and figures related to its macro and micromorphology. This species is the second member of the genus Cryptomarasmius T.S. Jenkinson & Desjardin in Turkey and characterized by small, red-brown pileus, distant, often reduced lamellae, ellipsoid to narrowly ellipsoid basidiospores, and the presence of pileocystidia, dimorphic cheilocystidia, pleurocystidia, and caulocystidia.

Though the history of macrofungal studies on Turkish macromycota goes back to almost 100 years and the number of them have increased particularly in the last 3 decades, the accumulated data presents about 2400 taxa. Compared to the 15.000 assumed macrofungi of Europe and the macrofungal diversity estimates of Mueller et al. regarding the plant/macrofungus ratios of temperate regions, there is still much to be done to obtain the overall macrofungal data of Turkey. To contribute to the macrofungal biodiversity of Turkey, this study was carried out, and a new coprinoid species, Leucocoprinus cepistipes (Sowerby) Pat. belonging to the family Agaricaceae, is given as new record for the macromycota of Turkey from Ardeşen district of Rize province. The taxon is desribed briafly and photographs related to its macro and micromorphologies are given.

The newly discovered cyphelloid species Chromocyphella meloana is here described and illustrated based on specimens collected in continental France. Hypothetic reproductive isolation of this species is supported by the morpholological characteristics of fruit bodies, which initially develop as corticioid basidiomes, and mature into folded, torn structures producing ellipsoid brown rugose basidiospores. A combination of ITS, 28S rDNA and rpb2 sequences is used to classify the collection as a new species within the genus Chromocyphella . A key to the species of Chromocyphella is provided.

This study was carried out on macrofungi grown in 2008 and 2009 in Siirt Central district. The collected macrofungi were photographed in the field and ecological, morphological and ethnomicological characteristics were recorded. Macrofungi specimens were dried, taken spore-prints and necessary microscopic data were obtained by applying necessary mycological techniques in the Fungarium. As a result of the macroscopic and microscopic data obtained, 46 macrofungi taxa belonging to 15 families of Pezizomycetes and Agaricomycetes were identified. All species identified are new records for the research area.
