Agriculture is crucial for the economy and individuals, and there is a pressing need to improve its quality, efficiency, and competitiveness in emerging countries. This study uses data from Chinese-listed companies to investigate the effect of trade credit on agricultural firms’ total factor productivity. The results demonstrate that trade credit access and provision can increase agribusinesses’ total factor productivity. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that access to business credit has a higher contribution to total factor productivity for agribusinesses in the primary sector, for firms in the versus maturity stage, and with low or medium supplier concentration. The provision of trade credit has a more pronounced positive impact on agribusinesses in the maturing stage and enterprises with low or medium customer concentration. This paper further validates the channels of action through which trade credit affects a firm’s high-quality development. This research makes a valuable contribution to enhancing the quality and productivity of China’s agricultural sector.

This research aims to determine the effect of local potential-based workshops and entrepreneurship learning in increasing the interest in entrepreneurship of grade XI students majoring in Fashion in 3 different vocational schools in East Java Province, Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population in this research was 338 students, and the sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 172 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis using percentages and inferential statistical analysis techniques using data normality tests, product moment correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the product-moment correlation test analysis, creative product learning and entrepreneurship positively and significantly affect entrepreneurial interest in class XI students majoring in Cosmetology, amounting to 26.7 percent accepted with a low level of influence. The simple linear regression analysis results show the effect of learning creative products and entrepreneurship on student entrepreneurial interest. The results of this research are useful as input that is learning creative products and entrepreneurship based on local potential has the potential to give birth to new entrepreneurs to increase regional economic resilience.

Diferentes estudios reconocen el impacto de la innovación en el desarrollo económico de los países, al igual que en la competitividad empresarial. Atendiendo la importancia que representa la agroindustria alimentaria como sector promisorio para el departamento de Boyacá en Colombia, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar su desempeño en gestión de la innovación en producto, proceso, mercadotecnia y organización. El enfoque de la investigación es descriptivo y correlacional con diseño no experimental y transversal, en una muestra de 100 empresas. Los resultados mostraron que 53 empresas realizan actividades de innovación y el mejor desempeño se encontró en gestión organizacional y la menor gestión en proceso. De acuerdo con los hallazgos, el principal reto está en fortalecer la cultura, creando entornos propicios para la innovación empresarial, procurando la integración de actores a diferentes niveles desde el internacional, nacional, hasta el local; dado que en el análisis de la gestión no se encontraron mayores diferencias entre empresas que reconocieron hacer innovación, frente a las que se consideran no innovadoras.

The aim of this study was to present factors shaping biodiesel production in Poland influenced by the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of the European Union (EU). The performance of Polish biodiesel producers was analyzed. A regression model was built to identify the factors that impacted biodiesel production in Poland. The Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) was the main source of information about Polish biodiesel farmers. The FADN is the most comprehensive and detailed source of economic and agricultural data in Poland. Changes in the number of bio-diesel producers in the Polish market were analyzed with the use of indicators. In the last stage of the study, the impact of selected variables on the performance of rapeseed farms was determined in a regression analysis. The second source of information was Eurostat data, which provided information about pure biodiesel production in the European Union (EU) countries from 2004 to 2019. The biggest producers of pure biodiesel in the European Union are Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Poland is also an important producer of biodiesel in the European Union (EU). Both descriptive statistics and statistical analyses are presented. First, we used descriptive statistics to present changes in pure biodiesel production in the European Union. Second, we used statistical analyses to present factors shaping the economic performance of biodiesel producers in Poland. The study demonstrated that the number of rapeseed producers in Poland has increased and that farm performance has improved during the period analyzed. Rapeseed farms have increased their land area and the value of fixed and current assets. The land area under rapeseed cultivation has increased after Poland joined the EU, which suggests a positive response to a growing demand for biofuels.

En el presente trabajo, se desprende el objetivo indagar la influencia de la inteligencia empresarial sobre la toma de decisiones en la producción de molusco Bivalvo “Concha Prieta” (A. tuberculosa). Uno de los moluscos bivalvo de mayor extracción de los bosques de manglares es la concha prieta (Anadara tuberculosa). En Ecuador se encuentra distribuida en las provincias de Esmeraldas y El Oro. Este recurso ha sido culturalmente y económicamente importante en las comunidades del archipiélago de Jambelí, y en toda la costa del Pacífico de América Latina. Una herramienta que ha sido muy utilizada durante las últimas décadas es la inteligencia empresarial, la misma permite extraer, explotar, y simplificar información y descubrir nuevos patrones que se convertirán en futuros eventos de las empresas agropecuarias. En la investigación se aplicó un diseño no experimental y de enfoque mixto. Se aplicó un análisis estadístico inferencial el cual arrojó como resultado que existe una influencia correlación positiva considerable con un 74.3% entre la variable inteligencia de negocio y la variable toma de decisiones. Por este motivo es oportuno implementar un Software de inteligencia de negocio en el área de producción de la empresa como instrumento para el análisis de grandes volúmenes de datos.

Food consumption is a basic human necessity that should be fulfilled. Although the investment level tends to increase in Central Java, the open unemployment rate also tends to increase. It is worrying that this condition will affect the society prosperity reflected by food security status. This research aims to analyze the consumption expenditure development in Central Java, identify the food consumption expenditure determinants, and formulate the food consumption fulfillment strategies. This research has quantitative characteristics by using the secondary data of Statistical Central Bureau. The research result shows the consumption expenditure proportion between food and non-food is nearly similar and tends to increase each year. The determinants, which affect the food consumption expenditure positively and significantly, are the non-food consumption expenditure, the gross domestic regional product (GDRP) of constant price, and the poverty rate. The food consumption fulfillment strategies in Central Java are directed by sustainability schemes covering economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The implementations are to strengthen the food security dimensions, the society income enhancement, the value chain optimization, the adoption of technology and knowledge, and the local food resources utilization.

The digitalization of production in agriculture is a global trend, there is a great research and investment interest in digital technologies. The national priorities of present Russia to be determined by the program documents of the country's socio-economic development for the period up to 2030 imply the use of the wide possibilities of digital technologies to ensure the entry of the Russian Federation into the number of the largest economies in the world. Since the state has set a task to transform agriculture through the introduction of digital technologies, the issue of introducing information technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises that lack investment is very relevant. The purpose of the study is to analyze the positive experience of introducing digital technologies by farmers, in particular blockchain technologies, to determine the prospects for the process and justify the dissemination of positive experience. The promising areas of using digital technologies in farms are analyzed and substantiated. These technologies make it possible to simplify the sale of products, eliminate unnecessary intermediaries, provide investments in the development of production, logistics and certification, as well as the development of rural areas and infrastructure. ICO and crowdfunding can be a starting point for the development and upgrading of farms. Therefore, information on successful practices in the application of information technologies should be popularized among farmers for wider dissemination among farmers.

The aim of the study is to analyze the level of digitalization of livestock production, determine the prospects of the process against the background of their existing strategic documents and the level of domestic developments. The study was based on the program documents, scientific publications, and data on Russian developments. The study used the monographicmethods, comparative and system analysis methods, idealization and mental modeling methods, as well as a logical approach. Since the government has posed a challenge to ensure the entry of the Russian Federation in the five largest economies in the world,the transformation the agriculture through the introduction of digital technologies and platform solutions, the issue of digitalization of agriculture and livestock as less advanced in matters of digitalization is very relevant.
This chapter aims to offer insight into the recent technological, societal and channel research advancements in agribusiness. More in detail the study introduces the concept of sustainability and potential application in agribusiness and explores the role of technology in the transition process towards more sustainable approaches. A specific focus is done on agriculture 4.0 as a strategy able to offer farmers the opportunity to save resources and reduce waste in a view of the circular economy paradigm.
