У цій статті розкрито актуальні питання необхідності постійного спостереження за змінами ділової активності бізнес-структур. Основною метою дослідження є здійснення моніторингу ділової активності промислових бізнес-структур України для прогнозування їх розвитку в умовах військового стану. Критичний аналіз змісту наукових публікацій з вирішення проблеми удосконалення управління діловою активністю бізнес-структур виявив недостатність уваги вчених до досліджуваної проблематики. Актуальність її розв’язання зумовлена масштабністю впливу військових конфліктів на ділову активність бізнес-структур, що вимагає її моніторингу для подальшого встановлення стану та забезпечення відповідності бізнесу нормам, які вважаються необхідними для підтримання певного рівня стабільності розвитку або ж для виживання, визначення сфер, де бізнес може поліпшити свою діяльність і стати більш прибутковим. Методологічну основу становить система застосованих для отримання кінцевих результатів дослідження методів: теоретичного узагальнення – для поглиблення сутності поняття «моніторинг ділової активності»; аналізу, синтезу і логічного узагальнення – для отримання висновків під час моніторингу ділової впевненості та ділового клімату в промисловості; прогностичний – для прогнозування розвитку промислових бізнес-структур України в умовах військового стану. Об’єктом дослідження в роботі виступає ділова активність бізнес-структур. У статті представлено результати моніторингу ділової впевненості та ділового клімату в промисловості України в умовах військового стану. Аналіз, синтез і логічне узагальнення результатів моніторингу стали основою подальшого прогнозування розвитку діяльності бізнес-структур. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для бізнес-структур, які прагнуть підтримання певного рівня стабільності розвитку та визначення сфер покращення діяльності.

Business monitoring approaches usually address indicators associated with processes only at the service level; i.e., related to the services implementing the processes. Monitoring at the service level raises technical measures geared to Information Technology (IT) managers. Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) is usually carried out at a higher level, but transversely to the organization's processes, i.e., uncoupled from the processes. We present a component designed to aid in strategic alignment between business and IT by monitoring Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) of processes based on Quality of Service attributes. This component aims to allow business managers to monitor process executions by focusing on the indicators that truly respond to the execution of such processes. We evaluated the component via a proof of concept.

Business areas' managers should have access to business process indicators of their organizations to be capable of obtaining and analyzing information at real time during critical situations. However, the monitoring approaches commonly provided to such managers usually address only indicators at the level of the services implementing the business processes, which are technical measures directed to Information Technology (IT) managers. This paper introduces the StrAli-BAM (Strategic Alignment with Business Activity Monitoring) approach to assist strategic alignment between business and IT through monitoring non-functional business process requirements based on Quality of Service (QoS) levels. StrAli-BAM aims to enable business areas' managers to monitor the execution of business processes by focusing on the indicators that are really sensitive to the execution of business processes. StrAli-BAM consists of: a non functional requirement monitor and an infrastructure for SOA event-based execution and monitoring. This paper was performed following the research method of project science. The proposed approach is evaluated via a proof of concept in an online shopping scenario with non-functional response time requirement monitoring.

Based on a thorough analysis and comparison of several business activity monitoring(BAM) system models, noting that a BAM system is open, integrative, and real-time, and using the SOA software engineering techniques, this paper presents a service-oriented dual-bus BAM system model and analyzes in detail the functions of its service components and communications among them. Much more open than prior models, this BAM system model has a two-level bus architecture, which enables flexible and extensible implementations of practical systems, as well as provides a foundation for software reuse.

Oracle Coherence is an in-memory distributed data grid solution for applications and application servers. However, as a powerful and complex distributed caching system, it must be managed effectively in order ensure its uptime and performance in critical applications. The product exposes extensive performance metrics via a built-in JMX interface. This paper discusses how to effectively leverage this information and some of the practical considerations that have been encountered in using these metrics in real-world monitoring situations. As part of this discussion, a breakdown of the JMX MBean schema that is provided by Coherence is reviewed, and recommendations are made to minimize the latency of MBean queries, as well as the overhead associated with collection across a large number of MBeans. Finally, the paper offers suggestions for overcoming the limitations of process nodes.

Based on analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of several system models in BAM, established in the dynamic sense, cooperative work and real-time data processing of BAM system, this paper will employ an event-driven architecture and propose an event-based and service-oriented business activity monitoring system model. This model is constructed in the form of buses on the pre-existing various information systems of enterprises, employing events as the basic communication mechanism between modules. It also analyzes the key techniques in the system model in detail and finally shows that the design has a good effect through the experiment of the prototype system.
