Learning resources are crucial and strategic elements that impact the accessibility of easy, fast, accurate, and affordable information in the era of Society 5.0. Learning resources must be adaptable to technological advancements. The history laboratory is a learning resource that must be transformed and adapted to address the aforementioned needs and problems as a solution. The extensive collection of owned items has the potential to support this. This paper describes the creation of a digital laboratory by utilizing collections from the UM History Department. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method, utilizing the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study presents findings on the importance of digitizing laboratories as educational resources and digital laboratory products for the UM History Department. This digital laboratory product consists of several features, including an e-book (book catalog), an e-repository (final project catalog), an e-museum (museology collection catalog), tool lending, and graduate assessment. The results of the validation and implementation tests demonstrate that the criteria are highly valid and extremely effective. These results demonstrate that the digital laboratory serves as a more effective and efficient learning resource that is easily accessible and usable for civil society 5.0.

The use of mobile phones has increased in various areas during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the adoption of mobile libraries. This research aims to understand users' intentions to continue using USULib Mobile after the pandemic. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, the study focused on the entire population of USU Library users who utilize USULib Mobile, with a research sample of 250 respondents. Data collection involved questionnaires, observations, and documentation studies covering eight UTAUT2 indicators, twenty-six variables, and forty-six questions. Descriptive methods were used for data analysis, and data validity was assessed using a rating scale. The results showed a generally strong inclination among users to persist in using USULib Mobile after the COVID-19 pandemic. The most influential factor was habit, particularly linked to the experience variable, indicating that the use of USULib Mobile had become a deeply ingrained habit during the pandemic. On the contrary, the least influential factor was hedonic motivation, specifically the variable related to fun or pleasure, which requires further investigation.

Abstract— This document presents the design and development of an integrated library management system based on the needs assessment conducted in response to technology, infrastructure, existing condition, facilities, technology readiness of human resources, automation sufficiency level, and support of technical staff among ninety-eight (98) respondents using the descriptive developmental method. Developing a system based on research is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the system. This approach addresses specific problems or challenges by incorporating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in the field. The findings include the need to mentor the respondents on how to use technology and the influence of others as a factor in using technology. There is a difficulty encountered in navigating schools’ virtual libraries, unavailability of materials, and visiting it is not enticing anymore since information is available from the internet. The rarity of introducing new technology and the absence of 3D printers are common pain points. However, improvements on the library website, email/chat with a librarian, online research guides, online book reservations, and book delivery service were noticed. Research gaps and recommendations from the selected Library Management System were also employed as additional input in the development of the system. A deeper understanding of the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Robotics, and Embedded Systems through training, webinars, and workshops are necessary for the librarian. These technologies could be applied in library operations and transactions. Procurement of the latest equipment which includes 3D printers and the development of integrated library systems are steps to take to improve the library's services and operation. By combining the results of assessments and incorporating new knowledge derived from research gaps and recommendations, provided a stronger foundation for the system. It also provides validation and grounding in scientific principles, ensuring that the system is well-informed and effective in its implementation. Ultimately, developing a system based on research leads to more informed and effective solutions to pain points and challenges.
... From the accessibility view, DL can be defined as an online database of a blend of media formats (e.g. texts, videos, audios, images, etc.) that are digitally stored, organized, accessed, searched, retrieved, and transferred from a remote distance (Haq et al., 2022). Functionally, DL networks library operations, preserves knowledge collections and ownership, advances user services, avails library facilities, and manages institutional repositories and archives (Ikenwe and Udem, 2023;Khan and Shahzad, 2022). ...

This paper discusses the present state of the art and forthcoming directions of digital library adoption (DLA) research over the past 30 years. By means of scientometric analysis, we synthesize 216 articles and conference papers published between 1992 and 2022 using visualization maps of prolific contributions, co-citation, co-occurrence, and thematic networks. The analysis reveals important findings concerning research evolution, models and theories, intellectual foundations, emerging streams, frontiers, and hotspots that inform DLA decisions. Moreover, the paper highlights future DLA research opportunities through addressing scarcely observed areas in the field. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first attempt that comprehensively oversees the breadth and depth of the DLA research over a long-time span.

Digital technology has become an essential part of people's lives, and the Internet's innovation made it easier for humans to carry out activities. This systematic review aims to examine parenting with a specific internet-based intervention designed to help them gain information about child-rearing. Specifically, it analyses: 1) how the internet-based parenting intervention is studied, 2) how was the study of an internet-based parenting intervention done, and 3) what themes emerged from the systematic review. The finding suggests that most internet-based parenting interventions use transmitting information techniques visually, as the content is displayed through exciting and informative content. Four themes emerged from the thematic analysis: technology-assisted parenting programs, parenting interventions as support for mothers, professional support online, and improved parenting skills. Positive responses from parents as users show that this online parenting intervention can meet their needs and has the potential to continue to be developed. The literature is quite limited regarding assessing internet-based parenting intervention in early childhood education and developmental psychology. Because of that, further research to develop internet-based parenting interventions becomes essential to give parenting professional support.

Mobile applications are software applications developed for small and wireless computing devices such as smartphones and tablets, rather than desktops or laptops. With advancements in networking technologies, mobile applications are increasingly utilized in the field of education, particularly in libraries, to engage more users. They are predominantly preferred for providing library services such as accessing e-resources like e-books, e-journals, e-newspapers, e-patents, etc. Additionally, these applications provide users with access at any time, from anywhere, and help save time. This paper briefly explains the design of a mobile application for Dr. GRD Memorial Library, the main library of PSG College of Technology, using Jotform, a free, no-code app builder that allows sharing multiple forms, links, and other elements in a single app that works on any device. To enhance interactivity, a chatbot is also incorporated using an AI chatbot builder, Chatbase, primarily utilized for adding chat widgets in mobile applications.
