Message Passing Interface is widely used for Parallel and Distributed Computing. MPICH and LAM are popular open source MPIs available to the parallel computing community also there are commercial MPIs, which performs better than MPICH etc. In this paper, we discuss a commercial Message Passing Interface, C- MPI (C-DAC Message Passing Interface). C-...

Abstract The MPI standard,is often used in parallel applications, for communi- cation needs. Most of them, are designed, for homogeneous, clusters but MPI implementations, for grids have,to take into account,heterogene- ity and, long distance network, links in order to maintain,a high per- formance, level. These two constraints are not considered,together...
We present a technique to pinpoint scale-dependent integer overflow bugs, a class of bugs in large-scale parallel applications that is hard and time-consuming to detect manually. Rather than detecting integer overflows when applications are deployed at large scale, as existing techniques do, our method forecasts these overflows without requiring th...
Parallel handling alludes to the idea of accelerating the execution of a program by separating program into different sections that can execute all the while, each on its own processor. Consolidation sort is a proficient gap and-vanquish arranging calculation, consequently better comprehension of union sort parallelization can add to better compreh...
For many distributed applications, data communication poses an important bottleneck from the points of view of performance and energy consumption. As more cores are integrated per node, in general the global performance of the system increases yet eventually becomes limited by the interconnection network. This is the case for distributed data-paral...

In this paper, we present feedback control techniques for performing adaptive resource management in asynchronous real-time distributed systems. Asynchronous real-time distributed systems are characterized by significant execution-time uncertainties in the application environment and system resource state. Thus, such systems require adaptive resource management that dynamically monitor the system for adherence to the desired real-time requirements and perform run-time adaptation of the application to changing workloads when unacceptable timeliness behavior is observed. We propose adaptive resource management techniques that are based on feedback control theory. The controllers solve resource allocation problems that arise during run-time adaptation using the classical proportional-integral-derivative control functions. We study the performance of the controllers through simulation. The simulation results indicate that the controllers produce low missed deadline ratios and resource util...
