In this article, we propose a theoretical-empirical cross-section of three basic themes: female migration, DIY practices and decolonial digital artivism. Adopting the case study typology and based on the use of a qualitative methodology, fostered by an indirect autobiographical interview, we proceed to sociologically analyse the migration trajectory of Tila Capelletto, a Brazilian activist responsible for the creation of Wiki Editoras Lx. We intend to discuss digital artivism and the DIY and DIT practices and ethos promoted by Tila and Wiki Editoras, as a formula for promoting processes of diasporic identity (re)construction, resistance, existence and social change, drawing parallels with the Global South and semi-peripheral countries such as Portugal, which are embodied in the editing of Wikipedia to combat the invisibility of women in contemporary societies.

In late modernity, artistic-social movements play a central role in renewing societal processes. This article aims to understand how the do-it-yourself (DIY) ethos builds bridges of understanding for these challenges, taking the artistic practice of fanzine production of Fernanda Meireles as a starting point. Based on a qualitative methodology, we analyse Meirele's use of a DIY ethos and practice, contextualised within ecofeminism, the Anthropocene and the Phallocene, as well as in the city of Fortaleza, Brazil, where Meireles resides. Through a DIY lens, we highlight the perspectives that favour the resignification of urban spaces in new territorialities, giving rise to new ways of relating to the city and criticising or contesting it using an ecofeminist perspective of (re)existence in the face of the Anthropocene and the Phallocene.
Neste artigo, propomos um cruzamento teórico-empírico de três temas fundamentais, nomeadamente as práticas do-it-yourself (DIY), o feminismo e o ativismo digital decolonial. Adoptando a tipologia de estudo de caso e com base na utilização de uma metodologia qualitativa, fomentada por uma entrevista autobiográfica indireta, procedemos à análise sociológica da trajetória de uma das responsáveis pela criação da Wiki Editoras Lx. Pretendemos discutir o ativismo digital e as práticas e ethos DIY e do-it-together (DIT) promovidas pelas Wiki Editoras, como estratégia/processo para promover processos de (re)construção identitária, de resistência e de mudança social consubstanciados no exercício de práticas artísticas —de perfil ativista —por parte de mulheres e atores LGBTQI+. Na verdade, o foco deste situa-se na edição da Wikipédia como modalidade para o combate à invisibilidade das mulheres artistas nas sociedades contemporâneas.
O presente dossiê reune textos que debatem, analisam e/ou problematizam os impactos dos feminismos no sistema/mundo das artes, notadamente em países e regiões menos estudados pela bibliografia existente. Assim, buscou-se um conjunto de reflexões sobre a recepção, circulação, reinterpretação, importância, e mesmo as fragilidades, resistências e rechaço às proposições feministas em países fora do eixo anglo-saxão. Entendemos feminismo como um campo plural e diverso, que congrega proposições e estéticas múltiplas, que variam conforme o contexto em que são produzidas e mobilizadas.
A presente edição da Revista MODOS: Revista de História da Arte conta com dezessete textos inéditos. Destacamos os artigos do dossiê "Feminismos em campos expandidos", proposto pelas pesquisadoras Ana Paula Cavalcanti Simioni; Patricia Mayayo, que se somam a um crescente corpo de pesquisas que intentam transformar a(s) história(s) da arte por meio de metodologias que redefinam os limites geográficos e culturais da disciplina e da relação entre arte e feminismos em diferentes países ou regiões.
