Can the AHA's newly revised BLS on adults without the use of proper body mechanics for bystanders really achieve a return of spontaneous circulation?

Hope you guys have already red the assessment tool of the newly revised AHA BLS for adults (see attachment in JPEG). The answer is "sometimes yes", if the victim/patient is less than 5 minutes from an unwitnessed or witnessed sudden death. However, should the proper use of body mechanic be emphasised on the assessment tool of the AHA BLS for adults especially the proper use of hands, arms and body to pump the chest?

The proper body mechanics must be demonstrated and if not proper then corrected prior to passing. This however is not a bystander sheet and healthcare providers in many systems receive other CPR training that goes beyond what AHA teaches.

I suspect you could chalk-thi-up to the concept that "suboptimal chest compressions are better than no compressions at all." I was unable to locate the level of evidence supporting this - guessing its 2B at best...

Exact Body Mechanics is necessary. My instructor told me that even some doctors don't know how to perform CPR correctly.
